MEET
for about an hour. This provides the following opportunities:

• an observant walk through your property, as well as viewing it from inside
• a discussion about ways to make improvements or changes
• a chance to express your sensibilities and describe your lifestyle
• a brief education about the design process and timelines
• a look at a photo portfolio of recently implemented designs
• provision of client references upon request

RECEIVE
your proposal within one to two weeks. This includes a contract that re-articulates the scope of the work discussed, and quotes a fee for the design and an initial deposit. Ann Sinclair charges $80 / hour for residential design. Properties located an hour or more drive from Jamaica Plain will be charged for driving time in one direction. Reduced rates are available for off-season development. Commercial fees are based on an hourly rate of $85 and up.
