BIOGRAPHY

Ann Sinclair has been transforming New England landscapes since 1984. She holds a Master of Arts degree from the Conway School of Landscape Design and has over 20 years experience designing (and managing) residential and commercial properties.

Born and raised in Scotland, Ann has made New England her home, developing a particular interest in its regional landscapes. She has a broad knowledge of ornamental and northeastern U.S. native plants, and enjoys working with indigenous plantings and the natural dynamics of a site whenever possible.

Over the years Ann has been involved with community open spaces and urban lot reclamation and has embarked on the conversion of her own property from asphalt lot to lively garden. She enjoys the special challenge of designing small urban properties, where, often, so much needs to happen in such a tiny area.

In contrast Ann is also drawn to natural landscapes well beyond the city limits. She welcomes projects that allow her to incorporate into her designs the inherent characteristics unique to eastern Massachusetts.
